Compared to other West African countries Sierra Leone has done a poor job of preserving its history, nevertheless we have a few sites that are worth exploring. The next time you travel to Sierra Leone consider exploring Banana Island to gain a different perspective. There is much more to this beautiful country than negative headlines.
